Josh Jackson is a seasoned golf instructor and professional competitor based in Mason, OH, renowned for his expertise and dedication to advancing the sport of golf at all levels. With a foundational education in Broadcasting from Kentucky State University, where he graduated in 2012, Josh transitioned from collegiate football and golf to focus solely on professional golf following a significant recovery from an injury.

 

Josh delved into professional competition with notable participation in the PGA Minority Championship and rapidly became a recognized figure on the World Long Drive Tour. Here, Josh’s prowess was unmistakable; he achieved a personal best with a drive of 452 yards and ranked impressively at 37th globally in 2024, showcasing his exceptional power and technique.

 

His career as a golf instructor at prominent academies like Swingfit Golf Club in Cincinnati and Eisman Golf Academy in Lorton, VA, has allowed him to blend his competitive experiences with his coaching. At these institutions, Josh has not only developed comprehensive golf instruction programs but has also implemented innovative training techniques using advanced simulators and swing analysis tools. This blend of competitive edge and instructional skill ensures that Josh brings his students a deep understanding of golf mechanics, enhancing their skills and igniting a passion for the game.

 

Josh continues to engage in professional development and competitive golf, demonstrating his commitment to excellence and his desire to contribute to the PGA of America’s mission. Josh has opened the first Josh Jackson Academy at Musket Ridge Golf Course. His life and career are dedicated to nurturing talent and promoting the values of integrity, respect, and sportsmanship within the golf community
